Hannah -The 10 year old green blogger.

We realize that the next generation, our children, hold the biggest responsibility for sustaining the changes that society is making now toward a greener and more holistic planetary consciousness.

In that light, our own resident “Holistic 4th Grader” Hannah, will be adding her thoughts to this section of Cape Cod Holistic.

We hope you’ll enjoy the musings and reflections of a very earth conscious 10 year old, we certainly do. As Art Linkletter once said, “Out of the mouths of babes…”

We’ve given Hannah free reign to write about any subject that she feels moved to write about. There are no restrictions and no coaching of subjects will take place. Her articles will be edited for spelling and grammar but otherwise printed as she intends.

GOING GREEN-A KID’S EYE VIEW by HANNAH

I personally enjoy going green. In fact my family just got rid of our car.

The world and I like this very much.

Now my Mom, Step-Dad, Sister and I walk, ride bikes or take the bus to get around. It is fun. The best part is that YOU can do this too.

You can also do other simple things like turning off the lights when you aren’t using them or switching to CFL’s (compact fluorescent lights)!

It is so simple to save the earth.

Go out and plant a tree or get rid of your car!

It doesn’t matter how old you are or how much you do to save the Earth.

IT MAKES A DIFFERENCE !
