What is the “Trivedi Effect”

Posted by on Wednesday, 29 September, 2010

Mahendra Kumar Trivedi

Mr. Trivedi, also known as Guruji by many, has realized a level of human potential that has never been seen or thought possible before now. He has been changing the lives of people he has come into contact with and even more impressive is the fact that this ability can actually change substances at the molecular level.

There have been over 4000 controlled scientific experiments conducted by independent third parties to try to dis-prove these changes, but each and every time the science ultimately gives credibility to Guruji’s ability, also known as the “Trivedi Effect”.

Please watch this short video of an interview that Deepak Chopra did with Mr. Trivedi and you will gain a better understanding of the abilities of which I am speaking.

Cape Cod Holistic will be sponsoring a series of webinars beginning Monday October 4, 2010 with Mr. Trivedi so that you can learn more about the “Trivedi Effect”.

You’ll also learn about the many ways in which Guruji is building strategic alliances with many agricultural and biological businesses to improve their products naturally and with no actual physical interaction.

For more information or to sign up for the webinar series, please visit: http://trivedifoundation.org/cchwcs

You can also learn more about Mr. Trivedi at The Trivedi Foundation.

Author and Integral Movement Founder Ken Wilber has also written an excellent article entitled, ” A Narative on Guruji” with his own perception of “The Trivedi Effect”.

Introduction to Eco Property Development

The real estate industry has seen a new eco-trend as of late, which renews the way people look at developing homes and properties. The concept of eco property development has indeed become the latest trend in the industry that has come as an effect (although not directly) of the climactic changes and the overall threats of global warming. More and more people have opted to build their dream home in a “green” manner, such as using eco friendly materials to reduce negative impact on the environment.

Aside from building your own home, there are several real estate companies that offer eco properties for sale for those eco-conscious buyers. The trend is catching up to the rest of the world and more people are indeed enjoying this new way of green living. The vast improvement in green technology and the affordability of the properties due to the reduce in costs has made it more accessible to more people. In fact, housing and real estate experts believe that the trend is just starting and it will eventually caught onto some other parts of the world.

Continued Rise of Eco Housing Trend

Whether you are in North America, Asia, or Europe, property buyers seem to be agreeing that an eco friendly property seems to be the smartest choice for them. There are specific dealers available for eco properties, which makes it easier for potential buyers to make their pick.

Nowadays, eco houses have a variety of design and functional options, depending on how you wish to benefit from it. Most are equipped with solar hot water heaters, wind turbines, solar power generators, and wind power generators, among other things. These features also increase the property’s selling potential, knowing how widespread the current consumers’ eco consciousness.

How To Build Eco Friendly Housing

Building an eco friendly property is very simple – it starts off by picking eco friendly or natural materials. Some of the common eco friendly building materials that you can use include straw bale, hemp, FSC timber, lime plaster, cob, wood, and bamboo. Since all of these products are all natural, you need not worry about toxic emissions over time, which is very common among treated or chemically infused products as the chemicals break over a certain period of time.

You can also save tons of money from opting for these building materials, which are far more affordable than traditional materials used for building houses and properties. Indeed, the benefits of opting for eco friendly houses just seem to keep stacking up.

Benefits of an Eco Property

Before you contemplate opting for an eco friendly property, here is a heads up on the benefits you can enjoy:

  • An eco friendly property will enable you to cut down on energy consumption, which will automatically reduce your energy bills.
  • It introduces a healthier living environment.
  • The use of natural materials for the building of your home reduces exposure to toxic substances and other materials that expose you to hazardous elements dangerous to the health with prolonged exposure.
  • It will improve general indoor air quality to reduce any sick building syndrome, allergies, and asthma.
  • It will greatly improve the state of the environment by stopping causes of pollution. Thus, you can curtail damage caused to the environment and its resources.
  • It will also reduce the overall expenses involved in building a home property due to the choice of materials.

Ready to build your own eco property housing? Then, make sure to take note of the above conditions so you can finally embark on this new eco trend.

Wellfleet, MA

As the dust clears from a bustling summer and locals and visitors alike breathe a collective sigh, Wellfleet celebrates community in its own inimitable fashion with the 2010 Wellfleet Boogie.  This all-day annual benefit festival features live music, arts & crafts for sale, delicious food, raw bar, beer & wine, activities for kids, and much more.

The event takes place from noon to dark on Saturday, September 11, at Baker Field in Wellfleet (just across from Mayo Beach and just past the Town Pier), rain or shine.

Tickets are $10 in advance, $15 at the gate, students, seniors and Wellfleet residents half price, kids 13 and under free.  They can be purchased locally at Wellfleet Spirits Shoppe and the Wellfleet Marketplace, online at www.facebook.com/wellfleetboogie, or via phone by calling TheaterMania at 1-866-811-4111.

This year’s musical lineup is the most dynamic yet, featuring the intoxicating jam/jazz grooves of DanceFight, the proud and loud original roots music of The Catbirds with Chandler Travis and Steve reinvented classic rock of the Grab Brothers, and the infectious country rock of the Dave Sammarco Band.

The Elbows (featuring members of the Ticks) will reprise their highly celebrated performance of last year by offering a special set for kids at 12 noon.

All of the proceeds from the event benefit Friends of Our (Wellfleet) Recreation (FOOR), a nonprofit organization that provides a variety of resources to kids in Wellfleet, including furnishing uniforms, offsetting traveling expenses, purchasing equipment and undertaking special projects.  One current such project is the resurfacing of the baseball field at Wellfleet Elementary School, which falls outside of the Town budget, and will be funded entirely by FOOR.

DanceFight, a power trio based in New York but with longstanding ties to the Cape, has been performing and recording together for half a decade.  Driven by the fluid pyrotechnics of virtuoso Adam Platt on the key-tar (a keyboard with the pitch-bending capabilities of a stringed instrument that the player slings on his neck like a guitar), DanceFight features original compositions that travel through a dazzling array of rhythmic meters, musical timbres and sonic motifs.  Their performances on and off the Cape invariably bring the dance floor alive with a sea of ecstatic, weaving musical celebrants.  More info can be found online at www.myspace.com/dancefight.

The Catbirds are Rikki Bates, Dinty Child, Chandler Travis, & Steve Wood; they’re mostly from Cape Cod, and they’re a rock ‘n’ roll band, loud, rootsy, and proud, playing a mix of originals and obscure covers with an eye toward keeping folks dancing. They started up in April of 2010, but you may already know Rikki, Dinty, and Chandler from the Chandler Travis Philharmonic, or Steve from the Greenheads and the Freeze, or Chandler & Rikki from the Incredible Casuals, or Dinty from Session Americana and the Funky White Honkies… basically, the pedigree is about a mile long. One foot in the garage, one in New Orleans, the Catbirds exist to show folks how it’s done.

Mike Martin Y Los Rootsticks are currently based on the island of Martha’s Vineyard.  Led by singer/songwriter/guitarist Mike Martin from Vieques, Puerto Rico, they have shared the stage with Jimmy Cliff, Lucky Dube, Culture, Barrington Levy, the Wailers and other international artists. The band has headlined the Vieques Carnival for the last 10 years. From 1999 to 2003 the band assisted in the succesful civil disobedience movement that resulted in the departure of U.S. Navy from the Island of Vieques, an island of 10,000 inhabitants that the Navy had been bombing for target practice since 1941.  Following the resolution of situation in Vieques, the band has been based on Martha’s Vineyard, playing extensively at venues all over the Eastern Seaboard.  More info can be found at www.myspace.com/mikemartinylosrootsticks.

The Grab Brothers are led by two multi-instrumental brothers – Larry and Marc Grab – with a “retro for today” sound that blends crunching lead guitar riffs, propulsize rock rhythms and soaring vocal harmonies. Rob Scott brings an unlikely combination of jazz sensibilities, arena-rock charisma and rapping skills to his work on the keyboards and vocals.  Melora B. North writes in the Provincetown Banner, “the brothers are like an ‘orchestrated tossed salad’ with music emanating from flute, sax, harmonica, trombone, keyboards and electric and acoustic guitars, which gives them that full jam-band sound.”  The Grab Brothers’ electrifying live performances win over audiences throughout Boston, the South Shore and Cape Cod.  “Their performance and great ability to switch styles in an instant will keep you entertained like your first roller coaster ride,” says Gog at WKKL 90.7-FM radio in Boston.  Their newest CD release Asian Red has garnered them airplay in the United States and internationally, including the single “Holly Would,” which has been in regular rotation on WPXY 103-FM.  More info on the band can be found at www.grabbrothersband.com.

The Dave Sammarco Band, based in the Boston area, has delighted audiences for more than a decade.  With a sound rooted in blues, country and rock, they deliver a soulful blend of music that is equal parts twang, traditional, and straight up rock ‘n’ roll.  They have performed at the Wellfleet “Music at Mayo” series numerous times over the years, and will be welcomed back to the Baker Field tent with lusty enthusiasm.  More info on the band can be found at www.davesammarcoband.com.

The Elbows, comprised of Julia Randall and Emma Dubner from the female pop-punk trio the Ticks, plus rock-steady journeymen Brett Dubner and Jay Cournoyer, has played to thousands of children across Cape Cod and beyond.  Their whimsical, upbeat style of kids’ music invites audience participation and irrepressible smiles.  Instruments are passed out to the audience, and children and adults alike will find themselves joining in the musical fun.  More info on the Elbows can be found at http://www.theelbows.net/.  Their special performance for kids will start at 12 noon, sharp.

The backdrop for this musical bonanza includes a variety of hot foods for sale prepared by local eateries, raw bar featuring some of the Wellfleet area’s finest deep-water oysters, beer and wine, activities for kids, arts & crafts for sale by local artisans, and much more.

Attendees are invited to bring blankets and/or beach chairs, but no outside alcohol, and the event will take place rain or shine.

Tickets are $10 in advance, $15 at the gate.  Students, seniors and Wellfleet residents are half-price, and kids 13 and under are free.

For more information, call 774-216-9210.  To purchase tickets online, visit www.facebook.com/wellfleetboogie, or call TheaterMania at 1-866-811-4111.  More info can also be found at the website www.discoverwellfleet.com.

Posted by on Wednesday, 1 September, 2010

In this time of diminishing fossil fuels and the trend toward renewable energy, solar energy has once again taken the forefront of people’s interest. More people are installing solar panels on their homes now, than ever before.

Solar energy is the light and the heat from the sun. Solar energy is free and its supplies are unlimited. There are n air and water pollution caused about by using solar energy. But there is still some impacts on the environment although indirect.
